Crappie are hit and miss on brush piles in 15-25 feet on minnows. Should be getting better as the lake level stabilzes  
Sandbass and hybrids have been excellent in 25-35 feet on humps and points. All sandbass and hybrids caught on 3/4oz slabs in white or chartreuse.

Solid Sandbass and Hybrid Action This Week!

We had a fantastic time out on Lewisville Lake today with the crew for our 8-Hour Lewisville Lake Fishing Guides trip. May is a great time to target Crappie and White Bass on the lake, as the warming waters have these species actively feeding in the shallows. The weather was a bit overcast in the morning, but it cleared up nicely by mid-day, giving us ideal conditions to get out and do some serious fishing.

As soon as we hit the water, we started working the banks and coves with our light tackle setups, alternating between jigging and slow-rolling our baits. It wasn't long before the action started heating up, and we began boating some nice Wiper (Hybrid Striped Bass). These fish hit hard and put up a great fight, keeping us on our toes. The bite stayed steady throughout the day, and we were able to land a solid mix of Wiper, along with a few Crappie and White Bass.

The best part was the camaraderie and energy on the boat—the whole group was engaged and having a blast. Between the nonstop action and the beautiful Lake Lewisville scenery, it was the perfect recipe for an unforgettable day out on the water. We laughed, shared stories, and congratulated each other on the nice catches.
