Trip - Lewisville Lake Fishing Guide | 4 Hour Charter Trip on March 28, 2026

Chris was awesome. super fun and ambitious in trying to get us to catch some fish. Cold front came through the night before we went out so we didn’t catch much, but we’re not very experienced so we ran with the cold front excuse.

Trip - Lewisville Lake Fishing Guide | 4 Hour Charter Trip on December 21, 2025

The three of us ages 81, 45 and 13 had a great time. Our guide, Chris Daugherty was outstanding. He put us on fish and helped our 2 younger members understand the method we were using. Ghe boat was comfortable and roomy enough for all of us. he took time to show my grandson the electronics he used to put us on fish. i would highly recommend Lakeside Guide Service for a trip and plan on using Chris in the future.

I used Lakeside Guide Service last year and had a wonderful experience. So, when I was going to be in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area again: it was a "no brainer" I contacted Capt. Chris and asked if I could catch Crappie in mid-October. After he assured me that he could put me over my target species, I booked 2 morning trips for me and my wife; once again, money SO WELL spent. The 1st day began at sunrise on Lewisville Lake (see photo) 20 minutes later and my wife is boating an 11" 1-pound Crappie. We were over fish all day; Crappie was the target so we "tossed back" several white bass, catfish, and hybrid. The 2nd day was just as eventful as the 1st with us catching fish all day long. At the end of the day Capt. Chris wanted to hit one more spot before we left. Lucky us, my wife caught a 15-1/4" 2-pound Crappie (see photo #4). The catch total for both days was 42 Crappie. I highly recommend Lakeside Guide Service and Capt. Chris. I can't wait for our next trip to Texas, and I will plan it around a couple more days on the lake with Capt. Chris. Oh, and did I mention he has top-notch electronics, and his GPS is loaded with a ton of productive fishing spots? On top of all the great fishing equipment and expertise, Capt. Chris is a true Texas gentleman and makes you feel welcomed and like part of the family. Thanks for the great time on the lake Capt. Carl(?); Mary(?) and I look forward to our next great Crappie experience. It's an inside joke; you can ask Capt. Carl(?) about it when you book your next fishing adventure.

We went on a morning 4 hour fishing trip with Captain Chris and had a fantastic day! He is fun, funny and extremely knowledgeable about fishing. We caught over 50 fish and had 33 keepers! He did an amazing job filleting the fish. Looking forward to the fish fry and our next trip with Captain Chris.

Our end of summer half-day fishing trip was amazing. It was the perfect way to send my son off to College. Captain Chris was awesome, very knowledgeable of the lake and the best fishing spots. His tech on board helped with finding spots. We ended with 20 keepers. In all we probably caught 40+ fish for the day. I highly recommend you give him a try for your next fishing trip.
